I drive my Corvette to work everyday and just love the experience. The car has over 130000 miles on it and has its moments when I curse it. But, I keep fixing it and getting it back on the road. Lately I have been loving how the car is driving, mainly due to the replacement of the radiator. The car runs so much better when the temps are under control. I should have know the fun would not last. Today, on my birthday the brake booster died. Lucky for me I was just a couple blocks from my house. Guess this will be my first how-to post in the Corvette forum.

I'm no tree hugger but earth day had a profound effect on me that I didn't quite expect. Saving the environment is great and all but maybe my real motivation is to just save money and stick it to the oil man. Whatever the real reason, I have done enough research to convince myself that I could build a simple electric car for under $10,000. This is much less than many of the companies that are poised to sell electric cars to the public in the US. Had a great time at the Rush concert last night. I never get tired of their shows. Always high quality and always plenty of music. I enjoyed this concert a little better than the last one. I think I am a little more familiar with the new album so I was able to connect to them this time. Anyway, if you get the song reference that this web page is named after then you can understand how influential Rush can be. I took a few snapshots with my camera phone.

I am shocked and relieved that my Corvette passed Inspection Monday. The State Inspection expired almost 2 years ago and I had not tried to get it inspected since the new emissions testing began. The vehicle does not have an catalytic converters so I was afraid it would not passed. The car is well maintained so I will take this test passed as a small pat on the back for a job well done.
